These are actual conversations with customers that have taken place
in the past. Sometimes we cannot resist having fun; hence, our replies
below. All in good taste of course!!
Customer (on the phone):
"I'd like to order a large pizza; half pepperoni and half
cheese!"
Order-taker (jokingly):
"Sure ma'am. On which half would you like the pepperoni; left
or right!
Customer:
"Oh dear, I haven't thought of that? let me ask my husband!"
Customer: "I need to order a large pizza please; half mushrooms, half
pepperoni and half onions!"
Customer
(on the phone):
"I wonder if I can place an order."
Order-taker:
"We won't know unless you give it a try, sir!"
Customer(on the phone):
"Hi. I would like to order a pick-up please."
Order taker:
"Sorry ma'am; we don't sell trucks here, only food!"
Customer: "I'd like to order a small cheese pizza, but could you cut it
into six slices instead of the usual eight; I'm not that hungry
tonight!"
Customer(on the phone): "Hi, can I call in an order?"
Order-taker:
"Sure; let me give you our phone number."
Customer:
"Oh, thank you... I'll call you right back!"
